“Chatton Deluxe Log Cabin”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Just spent a long weekend at Felmoor Park. I travelled with my husband and 2 sons aged 6 and 3. We had a lovely relaxing weekend. Stayed in the chatton deluxe which was gorgeous, Spacious and very modern. The Log cabin was exceptionally clean and very warm and considering it was one of the coldest weekends ever we were actually turning the heating down.
We didn't venture out very much as weather was terrible but we walked around the lake and woodland area which was sufficient for us with two little ones.
We will be returning to this park without a doubt!

Just spent a wonderful weekend here. The cabin (no 9) was immaculate and had everything needed for the perfect weekend. The site was peaceful and ideal for a spot of star gazing. It's a perfect base to explore Northumberland. Looking forward to returning.

Had a short break again at this site, and once again stayed in a log cabin. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival with the beds allready made up for us. We found the first evening was not over warm in the cabin which we put down to the heating having been on too low for some time, however thing were better after the first evening. Everything worked and thet even provided washing up liquid, which I have not come accross before. The whole of the site is well maintained and in good order. We are now looking to stay for the third time next year.

We are a family of 3 (little girl age 5) and we arrived on sun 23rd dec. After reading some fabulous reviews of the park and also searching various sites, we settled on staying in a log cabin (no.18). We have never done anything like this before, especially over the christmas period, so felt quite apprehensive about it. All our worries soon faded, as soon as a friendly man named Mel showed us to our cabin. It was beautiful! a real home from home and not at all what i had envisaged, it was better! The furnishings are of a very high standard and everything was extremely clean. The beds were so comfortable, my little one even slept in! ( bonus!) The kitchen was a delight as it had everything needed to cook a christmas lunch. We took our own decorations and the place was very festive indeed! The cabin was located perfectly, opposite a small lake which was a lovely sight first thing on a morning. Our daughter was delighted to discover a small playpark which kept her entertained. There is a bar onsite but i cant comment as we didnt visit it. However 15 mins drive into Morpeth there is a vast array of shops, bars, restaurants etc. Alnwick is also nearby (approx 20 mins) with lots to see & do. Overall i cant recommend Felmoor Park highly enough. Its the perfect hideaway to get away from it all. We will most definitely be coming back again :)

Just back from a 5 night stay. We were blown away with the quality of the accomodation. We stayed in the Cheviot which had a 42" LED tv, Blu ray player and Wii console. The kitchen had everything you need for a self catering break. The beds were so comfortable it was a shame to get up with the kids at 6.30 am. As for cleanliness. You couldn't find a speck of dust anywhere. The park itself is beautiful and the staff in particular Mel were warm and friendly. As for location 40 minutes to Seahouses and about the same to

Spent a great long-weekend at Felmoor Park. Clean, modern, warm cosy lodge with better than expected kitchen and impressive rain-shower.
Well placed to explore north (Alnwick, Bamburgh) south (Morpeth town) or east (Druridge bay). I'd recommend The Ship Inn (and brewery) at Low Newton By The Sea.
I'd possibly consider somewhere closer to a pub for entertainment, or walking distance to the sea, but this wasn't far at all and easy for the A1, so a good balance.
