Stopped at Linden Hall just down the road and although Linden Hall was great for food and it had a pub 'on site' we just fancied 'something else' and decided to 'pop up the road' to the Shoulder of Mutton. We were greated by a very friendly girl behind the bar who made us feel very welcome. We made our choice and then settled by the open fire. Our food was bought to us with a smile and the food matched that. Personally I can't fault this place. The welcome, service and food was perfect for us...and I'm picky!
