We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Kestrel Cottage at Beacon Hill. The cottage was really spaceous, very well equipped and very warm, the latter being particularly important given we were there for the exceptionally cold weather we have had recently (-15C and 3 ft of snow!). The heavy snow and terrible driving conditions made leaving Beacon Hill difficult but I can't think of a better place to be snowed in. The pool / spa / gym is wonderful, the kids loved the pool and it was a real novelty to be relaxing on the deck chairs in swimwear looking out at the snowy blizzards! The owner, Alun, was very welcoming and helpful, even going out food shopping for guests who didn't want to tackle the snowy roads. We'd love to return!

We have just returned from a girls weekend break at Beacon Hill Farm. We stayed in the North Granary and we are already planning our next visit!! It was a brilliant weekend. Perfect location and the facilities were amazing! We booked in for a pamper each with Jean, which was brilliant and well priced, and spent the rest of the weekend lying round the pool and having a fab time! The cottage was perfect for what we needed, and was spacious and had everything in needed for meal preparation. The cottage was spotless on arrival, as was everywhere on site! We didn't venture off site but there was plenty of info in the cottage for days out, walks and local amenities had we wanted to. I would recommend to everyone, couples, families and girlie weekends alike would all enjoy their stay at Beacon Hill Farm. Will def be heading back!!
