We've been coming to Beacon Hill for at least the last 25 years, and every time it gets better and better. Regardless of where we go in the world, it's our daughter's favourite holiday. Great attention to detail in all of the accommodation and facilities and a great way to relax and wind down.

Room Tip: We've stayed in most cottages over the years; all have a different character but all should be t...

This was our first stay at Beacon Hill but it certainly won't be our last. We cannot fault anything about our stay. Merlin Cottage was a beautiful, spacious home from home with fabulous views. The attention to detail was unsurpassed by any other self catered accommodation we have stayed at throughout the UK. The on site facilities entertained our kids which ensured we had many relaxing moments. The local area is superb and we enjoyed some lovely walks around the estate, along the beaches and along Hadrian's Wall. What a great way to greet in 2013.

Love it at beacon hill. So relaxing and a great place to enjoy with friends. Highly recommend it.

The facilities are fab and you don't even need to leave as plenty to entertain the kids. The pool is well looked after and the heated loungers are so relaxing! Normally I fall asleep whilst on them!

The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. Plenty of books to read and games to play too.

Lost count how many times we have been over the last 13 years must be over 15 times.
Yet again (as always) another great time.
Just the two of us this time. Stayed in Elm Cottage. Excellent.
Only here for 5 days. Barely left Beacon Hill.
Very relaxed. Very Comfortable.
This really is an excellent place to stay any time of the year.
We will be back in 2013.

Room Tip: All the cottages are excellent

Last year (2012), we visited Beacon Hill Farm 3 times. We're not a family that does repeat bookings and visits usually but it's a brilliant destination and we intend to keep on going back.
We stayed the last two times in South Granary because of the number of us and as usual, the standard of accommodation was excellent, just like all the facilities. Everything is beautifully appointed and maintained. If you'e after a peaceful stay in the countryside with lots of activities for those that want to keep busy, this is most definitely the place to be. We recommend it wholeheartedly and can't wait for another visit. We have 2 small boys and they love it, we love it and Granny does too! Something for all the family to enjoy.

We have stayed at Beacon Hill Farm five times and cannot fault anything at all. We have stayed in 3 different cottages (getting progressively larger as our (grown up) children love coming too). Alun and his team have thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, relaxing stay and we now spend most of our break onsite for a truely stress-free time. Having said that, we enjoyed a fantastic walk along Druridge Bay when we were there in November. The best part of any stay at BHill has got to be our annual 'Sausage Sizzle'. Do not miss out on this lovely treat - collect the frying pan and spatula from the games room, go into the woods behind the main cottages and you will find fire-pits with tables and seating. Alun has even provided dry areas for kindling to burn. The only things you need to take are matches, sausages and a bottle (or two) of wine or beer!! The spa and pool are fantastic and everywhere is always warm and cosy. Miss out on this gem of a place at your peril....We will be returning again this year.

Room Tip: Every cottage is excellent and each have been designed with high attention to detail. You will not...

As a family of four we had a wonderful time at Beacon Hill for our recent Holiday. The facilities proved invaulable for relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed the clean, warm and friendly leisure facilities. The Spa treatments were a great way to relax for the adults and the Wood area walk and indoor area(and Kiddi Tractors) were a big hit for our young Boys. We have been several times to Beacon now and will certainly be calling again!

The cottages are very spacious, well presented and kept very clean and tidy. The views are amazing and whatever th eweather you always have a great sense of openess. Its a home from home.

Room Tip: There is so much to do here, just take the time to look around :)
