Excellent, punches well above its weight and provides far more than you would expect from a country pub in a small village.
Food is well presented and is focused on local produce, menu is slightly limited and perhaps misses out on the excellent local seafood, but is perfectly cooked, fresh, and seasonal.
The rooms show a lot of attention to detail and are spacious with good facilities including fresh milk and a mini fridge. Many pubs tend to shoehorn the maximum number of rooms into a given space, not here, the emphasis is quality, not quantity.
The hosts and staff are attentive and clearly want to give their customers a pleasant experience and deserve praise for their efforts.
This is simply one of the best pubs that I have ever stayed in.More
