We had a wonderful stay. Pam came to introduce herself within 10 minutes of us pulling up. She had very kindly left us some fresh eggs and a bottle of processco, a lovely greeting!
We had some lovely walks in the area, plus further afield. Despite the weather being on the chilly side, it was lovely coming back to the log fire !
We all thoroughly enjoyed it! I personally was impressed with the added touch of hot water bottles !
All amenities are there if needed. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and iron. The porch was a fabulous space to keep walking boots out of the way!
A charming cottage within a lovely setting with very attentive owners - thank you!
Loan View what a lovely find on trip advisor. It was a joy to stay in this old rustic farmhouse with its blazing fire in the depth of a really cold spell.
Pamela and her husband Jim were so accommodating ensuring that we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.
Our dog enjoyed playing and walking with their woofers which made it special for him as well.
Would thoroughly recommend Loan View if you are looking for that something different and special.
Very nice place in nice location
House had character with plenty of space and nice gardens. Good location for days out
What a wonderful welcome from both Pam and the house! Fire was lit, wine and chocolate biscuits for the kids. We had such a restful stay, really enjoyed having time with my kids without them playing on the various digital contraptions. My older daughter learned how to light the fire every morning to get the house cosy for us all.
My son loved the attic room, having the whole space to himself. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place. Thank you!
Having visited for the past two years we decided we had to return again.
All was just as great as before. Fantastic scenery, lovely cottage, a brilliant get away from it all. Will no doubt be back!
nice old world cottage with enclosed paddock to run your dog or let your kids play in safety. Jim and Pam very friendly and helpful owners.good shop two miles away in cornhill and good food pubs in coldstream and wooler with plenty more in villages locally. walk to the top of humbleton hill for glorious views and bamburgh and berwick only about 15 miles away. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday this is an ideal location. The wood burner fire is great once you get used to it.
We were two gentleman fishers and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. Our hosts made every effort to ensure all our needs were met. They came in and lit the fire so we came back to a very welcome warm cottage. A very nice welcome pack was warmly received and an early visit to ensure we had everything we needed and told to contact them should we require anything at all.
