Enjoyed crossing the border into Scotland via this bridge - very scenic and much nicer than crossing via the A1 but only one car allowed at a time so could get jammed up if lots of others have the same plans as you!

Everyone should know about this bridge which is a first in engineering. I had never heard of it until my airbnb host told me she was funraising to have the bridge restored. The setting is idyllic and the engineering achievement should be better known.

Regularly cycle this route past the Honey farm and circular route back to Berwick .
Great place to view the Tweed and cross into Scotland . Narrow bridge only for small vehicles and cycles
Classic bridge structure of huge significance in bridge building over the centuries. Classic example
Not far from other historic sites too

Fantastic old bridge. Lovely surroundings and walks. Great views. Well worth a visit and the Honey Farm is just up the road.
