“Gorgeous place, great stay”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

We had a delightful stay at West Longridge Manor House, we cannot praise it enough. As soon as we arrived, Robert made us feel at home with tea and delicious homemade cake in front of the fire. The décor is beautiful, romantic and cosy. Our room had a claw footed bath, which I could have happily stayed in all weekend. The breakfast was hearty and scrummy, served against lovely views from the manor house.

With easy access to Berwick and Northumberland, this was an ideal spot for a romantic break. We would definitely stay here again.

Remember to take a look up at the night sky before you head in for the night, and enjoy the stars in this beautiful part of the world.

We returned here for the second time this year. There is not a thing that you could fault. Spotlessly clean. Very warm welcolme from Robert. Fire burning in the grate, lovely cake and scones just had to boil the kettle to make the tea wonderful.

Would recommend this 5 star place to anyone truely home from home with very high standards.
Robert desrves his 5 stars and more.

We will be back again thank you so much

My wife and I have stayed here on a number of occasions, once with our teenage daughters and are always blown away with the stunning interior of this beautiful manor house.
The bedrooms and sitting rooms are lavishly decorated with the highest quality antique and modern decor which makes you feel that you are presiding at a real stately home (without the cobwebs!).
Robert the owner treats you like he's known you for year's and nothing is a problem, breakfast is of the highest quality and fresh and is set in the dining room overlooking the beautiful views through a large bay window, with the added bonus of Alpacas/Llamas grazing in the adjoining field.
Overall this is a very relaxed and tranquil spot, an ideal location for touring the Borders and Northumberland.
The only complaint is that i can't sleep in that Emperor sized bed every night!!!
Bye the way Robert makes the most amazing special occasion cakes so the house sometimes has that new baked cake smell just like my nan's used too #memories

Our first visit for a week in honeysuckle and when Robert said you just need food and yourself .we were amazed he thought of everything that we needed . Cakes and creamed tea on arrival after a long drive was well needed .It was like home from home. we had children of all ages and they all were amazed too our 4 year old loved the play things in the garden swings playhouse ect and being able to feed the chickens and Lamar's brilliant for going out 10 mins from the shops and local town. Robert is a great friendly guy with a great sense of humour he was always on hand but didn't bother us at all .Constant HOT water he has done brilliant there and deserves nothing but praise. we will be returning for years on in the future and will be staying for 2 weeks next time as its just like being at home thank you for making our stay so wonderful and relaxing your a star highly recommended see you next year all the best Lorraine Pete and family (Tuckfield) xx

Room Tip: they are all just fab

I have traveled extensively and have yet to come across a more comfortable bed and breakfast.
The owner and host is most hospitable, generous and friendly.
The rooms are luxurious and furnished in keeping with the period.
Perfect.
Do go there.

Our third visit to THE best B&B set in beautiful countryside - wonderful host, spotlessly clean luxurious rooms, superb breakfasts. Nothing is too much trouble for Robert he makes you so welcome in his home and if you happen to be a "stargazer" the most WONDERFUL night skies to look at!
