Honeysuckle is the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed at. It CANNOT be bettered. Robert welcomed us warmly on arrival, and there was a blazing fire, tea and cakes. What a start. The cottage is superbly furnished and equipped and has all the home comforts yo could want and more. Hopefully we'll be back, possibly at another season of the year. Charles & Margaret

Just returned from our 11th year staying in Honeysuckle cottage, It is still as lovely as our first visit,
as we are getting a bit older and don't travel as far on days out, it's a beautiful place to stay in and just unwind and relax. The cream tea on arrival and the coal fire are a lovely welcome. This year we took our grown up family and they thought it was wonderful as well.Going back to Robert's is like visiting an old friend.Hopefully we will go back next year.

We have just returned from a week's stay at The Garden House - West Longridge Manor. What a find, wonderfully comfortable, stylish and with a real WOW factor, and also with an owner as good as Robert, who needs anything more. This was our first trip to the Berwick area, and we will certainly be going back! Looking forward to our next visit to this beautiful Manor.

We had a great week despite the mixed weather, and the cottage (Bluebell) was perfect for us as family with young children (boys aged 3 & 4) Lots to see in the local area, which is the first thing that attracted us to it, and TripAdvisor didn't let us down - great reviews are well deserved. Robert has put together a huge file of attractions in the area which is a really useful starting point and he is happy to advise on places to see etc as well as being available to answer any queries on the accommodation. The great thing about Robert's cottages is that there are lots of distractions on the farm - play area, chickens, sheep, llamas to feed - as well as lovely facilities in the cottages themselves. You feel like you are in the country but less than 10 minutes drive to all the shops etc you might need so best of both worlds. The kitchen in Bluebell was very well equipped and we self catered all week with no issues. If we were the kind of people to go to the same place twice (we're not!) we would be back, but as things stand we will definitely recommend the place to others. We left feeling relaxed which is certainly not always the case when holidaying with energetic little people!

Room Tip: Bluebell ideal size for a family of 4 - comfy beds and a good size living room

We stayed at Primrose Cottage at the end of August 2012 and it was my first cottage holiday. I am very fussy about where I stay and I have longed to find good cottage accommodation. I love Northumberland but wanted to stay in a cottage rather than a B&B or caravan because I wanted to come back after a day sight seeing and relax by a coal fire, watching tv, enjoying a home cooked dinner. Primrose cottage was exactly what I wanted. The accommodation was so cosy, so clean and so well stocked that I could have quite easily moved in permanently. Robert had thought of absolutely everything a person may need while staying there. The beds were so comfy, thick duvets and soft pillows, a comfy sofa, fabulous views it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. I am seriously considering staying again next year. It was completely wonderful

We have just stayed for four nights at West Longridge Manor, this was our first visit to the Berwick area and we were so pleased to have found this fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived to when we left Robert was so helpful and friendly, tirelessly working day and night to ensure your stay is special.

The accommodation is exceptional, fantastic rooms nicely combining victorian elegance with the modern world, spotlessly clean with homemade breakfasts tastefully provided. To which you can eat whilst taking in the wonderful stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We have found a gem and would not hesitate to go back again,
Many Thanks Robert, Pete & Barbara.
