This was our first visit to Northumberland and there is plenty to occupy you. We stayed for 3 nights with Derek and Dianne and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and food - especially the option to choose a different breakfast each morning, including the tasty kippers. The ensuite room was very clean and comfortable, with the freedom to come and go as you please. The location was excellent with views of the 3 bridges over the River Tweed. This walled town is interesting and quirky, with little alleyways you just happen upon - all round - a little gem. We hope to return.
