great place for a week or few days basic shop in the village but not far to travel for bigger shops, the local hotel round the corner is excellent for food. But take a torch when out walking after sunset as its pretty dark not much street lighting.

Exactly what we were looking for and more. Lovely peaceful location with bar and restaurant next door. The accommodation is beautifully furnished and really well equipped. There is every thing you require and more, and the extra titbits were really appreciated. We would recommend this holiday to any persons and will most certainly return here in the near future. Thanks for giving us a base for a great holiday.
My husband and I stayed for a short 3 night break in this lovely part of the country that we have visited before. Julie Carr was very helpful and we could not fault the lovely property. Totally first class and our 2 little shih tzus were even left little dog treats along with the goodies for ourselves. Loved lunch at the Ship Inn at Low Newton and Holy Island worth a visit. Will return and book St Ebba's Peep again

St. Ebbas Peep is a well equipped, comfortable house in an excellent location. The property is clean and tidy with comfortable beds and two excellent bathrooms. Communication with Julie , the owner, is friendly with quick responses and the price is very
reasonable for what you get and compared with other properties nearby.
The house is about 10 minutes walk from the local shop and nearest beach with the main beach about 15 minutes flat walk along a footpath through a field of cows, but they seem friendly. There are two excellent pubs/restaurants two minutes from the house. Both serve excellent food and have very friendly staff.
Beadnell is an excellent location for visiting Bamburgh Castle, The Farne Islands, Holy Island and Alnwick Gardens which are lovely. Our particular favourite was Morpeth which is
one of the nicest towns we have visited.

This is a lovely cosy holiday cottage of good quality and with all the home comforts plus little extras provided by the owner. Welcome goodies also much appreciated! Ideal cottage for dog owners too. Peaceful location but close to the two restaurants in the village and 5 mins walk to seafront general store. An ideal touring base for exploring up and down the coast and inland. Fabulous wide sandy beaches - perfect for days on the beach or long walks. The Coastal Path is well marked and great for exploring on foot - you can walk to Seahouses, Bamburgh, Newton by the Sea easily, much of it along the beach if you prefer. Very dog friendly area - can use the beaches, lots of shops and restaurants welcome dogs, can join you on boat trips etc. Option of local dog crèche for when too hot or you need free time.

The house is lovely and has everything you could possibly want. Centrally located in the village next to restaurants and close to beach.
A welcoming 'goody pack' for ourselves and even treats for our dog were extremely appreciated.
Would definately go back.
