“Wonderful food and great surroundings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

We booked a meal for 6. Everyone in the party loved their dish. There was plenty to choose from and the menu was very tempting. We all had starters and main courses - The food was local, amazing and excellent value. The staff were all very helpful.

“ignore the bad reviews”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013 via mobile

ignore the bad reviews. We've been twice in one week and the service was excellent. Once for morning coffee and cake and returned for an evening meal two days later. Steak burger, fish and chips, kid's bangers and mash, pint of deuchars and glass of pinot grigio all excellent. And the staff were very attentive.

“Awful!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

Went here for an evening meal as looked like the best option in the area. Starter of didn't fill us with confidence but hadn't prepared us for just how bad the mains were. Th
at along with the poor and at times downright rude service...won't be back!

“Not Good!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

My husband and I visited the Victoria hotel for lunch. The atmosphere was non existent and the food was poor to average. We both had the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was incredibly greasy and quite inedible. Prices are expensive for what is on offer.
