Wow! First time hear at waren caravan park.. The caravan is the beat ever so clean and it has everythink for you.. Lovely location, friendly people.. Ultrafast checking at reception too.. But the dissapointing think was the takeaway.. Me and my friend order the 2 sauages and chip.. For £3.50 this is far to much.. I woudlnt feed my child it.. We also ordered onion rings which wer soggy.. Sorry to say that but it just wasnt good at all... But my overall experiance was good.. Thankyou waren i shall be returning

We stayed for 4 days in August in a tent - the site is very child friendly which is great. The kids would play in the centre of the site where there is a good playground - all the tents and caravans surround this area so very good to keep an eye on the kids.

Toilets were a little grubby at times although i did see them being cleaned twice daily. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Wasnt too keen on the bar, games room or pool. Pool seemed a little dirty and the bar/restaurant appeared a bit run down and dated. There were more games out of order in the games room than working which was a disapointment.

However, we enjoyed ourselves despite the weather and although i wont be camping again (personal preference!) i would recommemd this campsite for families and due to its location.

We were lucky enough to stay in a friends static caravan and have had a super 3 day short break, we were blessed with super weather, but even on a cloudy day the views at this caravan and campsite are outstanding, very family friendly with play parks and a heated pool for the kids, and respectful drivers who take it easy around the site to ensure children are safe, small shop stocking most essentials, a little expensive but I find this to be the norm at these on site shops.

Well, the trips during the day were great. But everything in the campsite was generally awful. The showers and toilets need to be cleaned, it's muddy all year round and we got pitched in a bad area with noisy neighbours, and the music from the bar is too loud. It's a very small place and i do NOT recommend going here. Sorry! However, i reccomend St Aidan's Dunes, a quiet beach. And Seahouses was in close reach but noisy.

Room Tip: Choosing a good place to pitch your tent or choice of accomodation: Do NOT go near the south of the...

We stayed over the Jubilee weekend (June 2012). Can't fault this place at all! It is a great and very well equipped campsite, good facilities including family shower rooms and even a bath. Pool is heated so kids can swim even if the weather is cold (which it was)!! Great kids play park, cheap bar, food looked fantastic although we didn't eat in the pub. Location is a bike ride / drive from Bamburgh village, fantastic beach, beautiful village, don't forget to try the Bamburgh sausages, they are divine!!!! Staff really helpful too, very friendly and informative and do everything to make sure you feel really welcome. 10 out of 10!!!!

10 adults family with 2 small children and 1 dog in 5 tents, we didn't get pitched next to each other as requested but wasn't to bad, wash up facilities are good plenty red hot water, showers good and cleaned or hose or bucket and mop left so can clean them out before and after use, good family bathroom or family shower room with toilet sink and mirror in. didn't have any plug points for us none electric guests if you wanted to use any electrical hairdryer or straightener or curlers, there is 2 hairdryers in the shower block 20p to use.
security do come round about 11 and ask everyone to be quiet even when just sitting talking in your tent, dont go if you after a good drink and party with family and friends.... this park best for very quiet get away, kids park on site which is good and swimming pool but didnt look very clean so never used it, didnt use clubhouse either as we like to cook and drink around our tent,
great walks can walk to bamburgh approx 1 and half miles.

We stayed in one of the 8 wigwams provided on this campsite last weekend (in april.) We were pleasantly surprised at how big the wigwam was, and the bed that you could make from the foam mattresses across the back of the wigwam was really big and quite comfortable. The wigwams have heating, a fridge, electricity and a electricity point, it was like going glamping! The lady at reception was very welcoming and the facilties were well equipped and very clean. It was a little adventure to camp out in a wigwam, the site is really handy for lindisfarne and bamburgh, and the breakfast we had in the morning at the on site restaurant was filling and reasonably priced. Would be great for families, you can also take your dog like we did, he loved it too!

Room Tip: We stayed in the wigwam named 'pawnee', which had a distant view of the beach. There are thr...
