Hotel room was nice & clean as are all premier inns, the room was a bit on the small side but ok for a couple of nights . we were in room 14 which is by a door which constantly banged after somebody went through it . Restaurant adjoining it served a good premier inn breakfast ,but the evening meal we had "a carvery" was terrible the veg was all boiled out of flavour, the roast spuds were dry and hard to eat. The rest of the menu seemed ok as it was not kept warm like the carvery.
All the staff both in the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and attentive.
The location is a plus point being in a country park ,with nice walks

Room Tip: Don't have room 14 , as in review door constantly banging

All you'd expect from a Premier inn.. Clean comfortable rooms with all you need for a night or two's stop over. I had room 10 right by reception which did get a fair bit of noise from guests leaving early but it was a big room and very comfortable. Staff were also very nice.
Pub next door serves basic unexciting pub meals, there's a good play area for kids and a huge pond with ducks on outside should you wish to stretch you legs.
Only 5 or 10 mins outside of Ashington.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from reception.

Stayed here for 1 night on journey south. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Reception staff were charming and very helpful. We also had a meal the evening we arrived in the restaurant which we could not fault either.
We paid only £37 for our room for the night so feel it was excellent value for money. Only downside was it was not very easy to find from main route south.

Quiet, clean with a lake on the front door, complete with numerous swans. Staff all extremely friendly, even those who merely pased us in tyhe corridor. They make a big deal about choice of fard/soft pillows but we found all of the pillows too soft. Otherwise, though, no complaints. Breakfast at Brewers Fayre attached was decent.
