Four of us went here to celebrate a shared anniversary, booking well ahead since it was a Saturday (which was a wise move).
The restaurant is accessed via a long raised walkway which, despite the place being literally in the treetops, isn't very steep at all. The whole walkway is dressed in fairylights so that the excitement mounts even before the restaurant is reached.
Once inside one is immediately impressed with a scene from something like Lord of the Rings: Heavy wooden tables and chairs with huge backs, more fairylights, a central blazing firepit (safely behind grilles) - in fact the biggest treehouse in the world.
Service is attentive and first class, and the menu will have something for all tastes, including game.
Our experience could be summed up in one word - Wow! It's hard to think how it could have been better.
