We found this gem of a cafe/shop after a walk along the coast. There was a sea mist giving the countryside an eerie quality. However the sun came out in time so we enjoyed tea, coffee and cakes outside. Everything was of excellant quality and well presented. The chocolate and beetroot cake proved to be a success as did the parsnip, lemon and ginger whilst the lemon drizzle cake was voted one of the best tasted. All this at a very reasonable price. The shop offered good quality itms and we will certainly visit again.

This little mini Aladdin's Cave is worth a visit. It is an old barn turned into a very nice gift shop and small cafe selling quality shabby chic type of items and luxurious fabrics. Also some lovely ideas for gifts - but be prepared to dig into your pocket - not recommended for those who are tight with their cash!

Worth it though....you get what you pay for.

This little gift and coffee shop is situated outside the sea side village of Embleton. It is a little gem lovely gifts wonderful cakes made from root vegetables and delicious coffee. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, well worth a visit.

We dropped by this coffee shop after a long walk for coffee & cake. The coffees and cakes are wonderful ..... with some unusual (yet tasty) cakes to choose from. The decor is lovely and full of old English touches. The gift shop is worth visiting too - lots of bespoke present ideas, albeit a little on the pricey side. My main criticism would be that I didn't find the staff to be particularly friendly. Still, worth dropping by to take a look. There's a nice little seating area outside for sunny days.

This is an amazing shop in the most unexpected place. A small barn by the roadside which would be very easy to overlook but certainly worth stopping to visit. The gift shop is a delight. The products are quality items of varying prices. The cakes were an unusual but delicious combination of ingredients - chocolate with beetroot and courgette with pistachio were the favourites in our group. (we didn't tell the fussy children of the beetroot until after they'd eaten it and they all agreed it was the nicest cake they'd ever had). The coffee was good and the hot chocolate was a hit.
The toilet has to be the grandest outside loo in the country - worth stopping just to 'pay a visit' to that.
There were only a small number of inside seats and some outside too, plenty of parking and space for bicycle parking.
Easy to find on the road between Embleton and Craster.
