I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June. We had the twin room at the front of the property. Linda and Kevin are very good hosts making you feel very welcome from the minute you step through the door. The garden is beautiful and the views at the back are wonderful. Breakfasts were excellent and really set you up for a days sightseeing.

We had a great welcome at this B&B, lovely room (3) with plenty of hanging space and great views of the Northumberland countryside. Affable host Kevin is happy for guests to sit in his delightful garden or to use the pleasant lounge. If one thing could be improved it would just be to put a shelf and towel rail in the en suite. However, it was excellent value for money, and we would be happy to stay here again when we are next in the area. Sue & Steve Pennykid

We have just spent a week with Kevin and Linda in Alnwick. The welcome could not have been warmer, with a lovely room with a really beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, and Kevin was very helpful on places to eat and visit. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

We have just come back from this BnB yesterday. Linda is a masterchef in her own right as the breakfast was delicious and she is a whiz with a poached egg....perfectly soft in the middle without any white slimey bits (every time perfect). The House is lovely, with the views from our room (3) being glorious. The welcome is very warm and Kevin is a real character but both of them make you feel at home within their home. There is a large lounge area for the use of guests and extensive gardens which are excellently kept, you wouldn't feel awkward sitting in either on a lazy morning or evening. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room is snug but not tiny and again spotlessly clean with a large double shower so no need so breath in as you turn around, which is helpful after the generous breakfast.
We went by public transport and it is a bit of a walk up the hill to the house after you get off the bus but Kevin kindly offered us a lift on any occasion including from and to the station.
We loved it and I would recommend it to friends and family, well done you two, we hope to see you again xxx

Room Tip: We asked for a room at the back as Mike snores...although he reckons he doesn't..HE DOES! But it...

I booked in to stay for a single night on my way through the north, and I wish I'd stayed longer. From the phone call to check we weren't lost to the greeting at the door, it couldn't have been a warmer welcome - and it just kept going. The hosts are friendly as anything and experts at what they do; have your eggs poached at breakfast, you'll see what I mean.
Great location for walking; fantastic rooms and en suites; genuine, wonderful people. Definitely coming back. Love the photography too.
