“Wonderful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

My husband and I visited The Joiners Arms twice during our recent stay at Seahouses. The Menu there is really good and the chips are home made and delicious. I sampled the lambs liver, which was cooked to perfection, served with french beans, homemade fries and a wonderful jus. The next night I sampled the sirloin steak which was cooked just right and again the chips were moorish! Also ordered the home made onion rings which were light and extremely edible. Puddings are on short supply unfortunately but we both tried the pecan pie with lemon curd and cream which was delicious. They also serve 'floater' coffee's which I had not seen for some time but they were expensive at over £5! Staff were really lovely and friendly and although dogs were allowed they didn't bother us at all. Parking is at a premium so you have to park across the road or thereabouts. Altogether very pleasing and would definately recommend it to fellow travellors.

“Lunch”

The joiners arms has fairly recently been extensively refurbished to a high standard. A lovely welcome was extended. Good food and ale selection, dogs allowed in the bar area which was quite large.

“Yummy”

Visited twice over the Easter holidays and both times greeted with a friendly smile. Enjoyed the food, especially the fish and chips. Best we have ever eaten. Light crisp batter surrounding a super piece of fish. Super friendly service.

“Excellent food and ambience in seaside Northumberland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

We have eaten at the joiners several times and can confirm that it is an excellent destination either from newcastle for a day out, or, more relaxed, if you are staying nearby and can saunter along for a beer and some food. Beautifully presented, tasty and good value. Manager Robin leads a professionally run team who are friendly and helpful. With bedrooms now on offer, it makes it an even more attractive destination.
