Lovely guesthouse run by lovely people. We received a warm welcome the moment we pulled up outside. This is a stunning old farmhouse, decorated in keeping with its great age, with traditional style. People who like "boutique hotels" would hate it. I think it's fantastic.
Comfy bed, lots of pillows, long-range views from the windows. 25 minutes walk into Alnwick for evening meals and drinks (or if you're like me, a nice 2.5 hour walk to Alnmouth along the river for a couple of pints.)
Lots of nice touches, such as fresh milk always available for coffee in our room. Outstanding breakfasts too. I had coffee, cereal and fruit. Toast. A traditional fry-up. Croissants with. And fruit juice. Not a bad start to the day.

My wife and I plus a friend have stayed at Laura's lovely friendly farmhouse during the Alnwick Festival for the last five years. Each year has seen improvements and the little extras that make a B & B really special Just a mile out of Alnwick on the Alnmouth Road, the house could hardly be more convenient for shuttling to and from the town.
I can't recommend this place highly enough, even though I run the danger of there being no room for us when we book again!

Room Tip: Great place to stay during the Alnwick International Music Festival!

A working farm with up-market accommodation & breakfasts. It is quiet but yet close to the lovely seasise Town of Alnmouth & Alnich Castle so is perfect for a 2 or 3 day break. We would advise anyone to try & get there on a Wednesday or a Saturday so you can get to Bistro 23 in Alnmouth as it is excellent but is only open those 2 nights.
The Davison family were great hosts.

Lovely warm welcome, best bed and pillow I have had away from home, home baked biscuits and fresh milk in room. To top it all, the breakfast was one of the very best I have had. Laura made it a relaxed and lovely stay.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have a lovely view of the fields and cattle

Booked two rooms for three nights. We could not have found anywhere more perfect for our stay. The attention to detail is amazing, we even had fresh milk for our morning tea! Our requirements were accommodated beyond our expectations. We will be recommending this B and B to all our friends. It is a superb location for visiting this lovely part of the country. Laura is so friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to share the family's lovely home. It was fun watching the young calves.

This is a truly wonderful B&B close to the A1.

A little out of town on the A1068 road to Alnmouth (15 mins walk to the nearest pub, 30 mins to the centre of town). On the Arriva 518 bus route - Newcastle - Morpeth - Amble - Alnmouth - Alnwick.

Nice and quiet, great rooms, well furnished, a lounge, ample parking, free wi fi and great Breakfast.
