Fun look back at kitchen gadgets from years past. Great customer service. Free recipes and demonstrations. Neat place. Takes maybe an hour to see. Something still made in the USA!!

The KitchenAid Experience is a store located in town at the address listed above. It is open 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and sells all types of KitchenAid machines and cooking utensils. It also has a small display/museum area. Downstairs you are able to purchase factory refurbished KitchenAid machines at a large discount to the usual retail price. The store also has a cooking display area where at times they have cooking demonstrations or classes. I found the store to have reasonable prices.

The KitchenAid Factory tour is actually located at the KitchenAid Factory on the outskirts of town at 1701 KitchenAid Way, Greenville, OH (about a 5-10 minute drive from the store). It costs $5 per person and is run twice a day at 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday. There is a KitchenAid history display/museum area in the foyer that you can view before and/or after the tour. The tour itself lasts about an hour and takes you through all the areas of the KitchenAid (stand mixer) factory. I found it very interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable. The only negative thing I could comment on was that the tour was a bit disjointed as you jumped between the different manufacturing process stages out of order. I found the staff at the factory very friendly and welcoming. NB Photography is not allowed on the tour.

This review is for the actual factory tour, not the KitchenAid Experience Store. The factory is located just a few miles from the store and you get tickets for the tour at the factory itself ($5 a person). They do have maps to the factory at the KitchenAid Experience store The tours are given only twice a day, at 10:00 and 1:00. This was one of the best factory tours that I have ever been on! It is a very up close and personal tour. You get to actually go out onto the factory floor and observe people working on the mixers. There are several areas of the factory that you visit and it is amazing how much of the mixer is still built by hand. Our tour guide was awesome and took time to answer everyone's questons. She had worked at the factory for several years and was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour!
