Stopped here for lunch while cycling on the cinder track - have been before for a drink - and ideal location at the top of the hill and with lots of outside seating. The views from the garden cannot be beaten and would definitely recommend as somewhere for a drink as the sun sets. However, the food we had today was terrible. The choice was limited as the restaurant is being refurbed. We ordered two bowls of soup - which took an age to arrive. The soup which was supposed to be Leek and Potato had a cheese fondant texture and had a skin on the top - and was served with tasteless cheap white sliced bread. Not good and wouldn't eat here again.
