Although most guests were long distance walkers, the accommodation was full of little luxuries and rooms had loads of interesting the bells and whistles. That didn't leave a lot of spare space in "the butlers room" but that is a minor quibble. Welcoming landlady and stunning breakfast. Go there!

Beautiful Victorian House, very comfortable bed, and lovely bedroom and ensuite. Loved the dinning room with the old stove/range in it, Everything was spotlessly clean and we chose a lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. just like to say thank you to our hostess who was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying there again

Difficult to say what was nicest: the cheerfull hostess, the careflly decorated bedroom (and bathroom), the comfy bed, the breakfast (try the smoked salmon: delicious!)! Unfortunately it was raining and we could not have breakfast in the lovely garden behind.
Robin Hood´s Bay is really lovely and this is no doubt a wonderful place to stay: very conveniently located, close to the footpath and the main atractions of the village, but not amidst the crowds, and you can park your car in front of the house.

Perhaps it was the 13 previous b&b's that had heightened our expectations - or perhaps 14 days walking had exhausted us? But we were glad to arrive after a tougher than expected day's walking. Jane warmly welcomed us and took us up to our rooms - rooms that whilst well equipped were just too cramped for comfort. Furthermore the plumbing system was not up to delivering water for 3 showers at a time and standing under a waterless shower with suds all over you is not what you want! Still, minor crisis over were soon off out to celebrate our walk's end which might have helped with the good night's sleep we enjoyed upon our return. Low ceilings on the top floor enforced very careful manoeuvring during the night but head injuries were avoided. Breakfast was full of promise (yummy yoghurt and fruit compote device) but was let down by really strange scrambled eggs.
All in all perhaps it just goes to show how picky you can get after 14 consecutive nights in a different b&b!

Our first visit to The Villa and what a wonderful experience it was. The Guest house is very well situated and is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Jane (the host) could not do more for us, making us extremely welcome upon our arrival and throughout our stay. A massive thanks to her for making our stay such a fabulous experience.

Landlady was amazing. Friendly, helpful and very cheerful. My daughter and I had a lovely nights stay. It is perfect for a nice walk to the bay. Excellent breakfast the next morning with an amazing choice of foods to choose from. Would recommend this B&B to anyone.

We stayed at the end of our C2C walk. Karen was very welcoming. The rooms are large and clean. Location is great, handy to everything in town. If you are in Robin Hoods Bay, you wouldn't want to stay anywhere else
