We were really pleased with our stay at Lynnfield. In pole position overlooking the bay, well equipped and lots of space for up to 10 people to move around. Two lounges are a real bonus when there are small children to amuse.
Not our first visit to RHB but our first stay in this accommodation. Newly refurbished as a self catering establishment it provided us with a welcoming, pleasant and interesting place to stay for our annual visit to the area.
Ample kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery. All utilities and amenities in full working order. Beds and linen all crisp and clean with spares available if needed. There was also a lot of useful information about the local amenities, places of interest and forthcoming events along with helpful housekeeping instructions.
Nothing had been forgotten and we were able to spend a restful, comfortable and most enjoyable week in one of our favourite places.
The sun shone every day and the tides were favourable for our fossil hunts and beach rambles. Evenings were spent sampling the local fayre which never disappoints and always includes fish and chips as well as visits to the Wayfarer Bistro and Victoria and Grosvenor Hotels, and/or sitting outside watching the sun set with a glass of fizz!
Visiting friends and family were most impressed with our accommodation and surroundings as they joined us throughout the week and the leaflet box was empty by the end of the first week end. Sadly there were no leaflets left for us to replenish it with or we would have done so.
Altogether a lovely week, in great accommodation with good company, delicious food and the sunshine! (Not forgetting to get the pork pies from Jacksons butchers in Ruswarp on the way home and partaking in our retail therapy at The Black Market jet shop in Whitby)
Will definitely be recommending Lynnfield to our friends and family.
Thank you Chris and Penny!
