We stayed at the Arandale Guest House on a recent group trip to UK for the Coast-to-Coast walk. Although we stayed in lots of really nice B&Bs and inns, Arandale was hands-down the nicest. Because of the size of our group, we had to spread out to multiple B&Bs most of the time. My friend and I thought we had really struck gold at Arandale. Everything was perfect, and Paul and Tina's attention to detail was amazing. We heard a rumor that it was the most expensive B&B in Richmond but it was surely worth it. (Our stay was part of a package price for the whole 15-day trip so I can't confirm or deny pricing details.) When I asked Paul if he had a laundry drying room, he even offered to do our laundry for us. A rare treat was their nice hot tub (but no swimming pool, or course).

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were lovely. We stayed in the large red room, but the room I called the honeym...

Eight of us chose to stay here twice while taking tthe coast to coast slowly - at the end of one walk and the beginning of the next. Each time was perfect with friendly host, Paul, attending and supplying every need. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and beautifully appointed and decorated.Breakfasts are a gourmet feast with locally sourced eggs and sausages. Richmond is a delightful town with good restaurants and a stay here at the Arandale is fully recommended.

Room Tip: Any room is great but the 'Honeymoon bathroom' is a delight!

We stayed here for two nights to do some bird-watching in the area. The room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony. Really good bed and everything you would expect provided. Loved the hot-tub which we used twice. Paul was very helpful in every way and recommended places for us to eat which were both very good. The house is very well placed for walking to restaurants and pubs in Richmond - which is a lovely little town. Breakfast was very good.

Room Tip: The balcony is nice but this room is smaller. The other rooms are huge.

We loved the friendly, welcoming hosts at Arandale GH who went out of their way to assist us and cater for us. We stayed a night doing the Coast to Coast walk and had a spacious, clean and extremely comfortable bedroom and huge bathroom (with a bath which was very much appreciated after a days walking). The breakfast was beautiful and the stay was a highlight of the walk!

Room Tip: A room with a bath is fabulous if you're doing a lot of walking!

On our coast to coast trek were booked into this great venue. Paul was very welcoming and even helped me with an iphone charger until I located mine. Had probably the best breakfast of our 12 day trip poached egg over haddock with sautered potatoes and vine tomatoes (see picture). Due to early start came down to breakfast 20 minutes early but Paul managed to take this in his stride and accomodate. Room very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. It has a large flat screen tv and views across Richmond. Only problem was that I didn't have the time to use the hot tub so will be planning another visit when I can spend a couple of nights here.

A very warm welcome and efficient service. Paul and Tina facilitated an early check in so we could get ready for a wedding that day which was appreciated. Most comfy bed ever. Room well appointed and very clean. Breakfast fantastic. Cooked to order, fresh coffee, warm toast and a bespoke service. Excels over most hotels. We would highly recommend and will stay here again.
