Stayed in lodge "Rebecca" for the weekend and really enjoyed it. The accommodation is of a very high standard and it is a very peaceful place to stay. This was our third visit and will definitely be returning again.

I have now been to Brompton Lakes three times as a visitor to see a relative. The entire site is very appealing. The lodges are eco-friendly and use wood burners. Wood and firelighters are provided. Kitchen facilities are excellent.
The site is very well maintained both inside the lodges and within the grounds. There are enjoyable walks around the lakes which are passable by wheelchair users. The paths are either tarmac or gravel.

Internet use is free for the first 30 minutes each day. After that, payment is required (£2.50 per day).

The site is well placed being near to Catterick and Easby Abbey. It is also quite near to Richmond and Northallerton.

I can heartily recommend a break at this venue.

Stayed here in February 2014 have already booked to return in April 2014. The lodges are excellent, clean and very well stocked. The grounds are well maintained and the staff are excellent and go the extra mile to help should you need it.

Room Tip: all the lodges are excellent

Fifth time at Brompton Lakes so need i say more...... Well yes i will say more.. Clean as ever, tranquil as ever, so lucky with the weather as the rain stayed off while we were out. Heaven on earth for a great weekend away.
We had two lodges as there was 12 of us, Jasper and Finley. Fantastic views from the bedroom of Jasper. We had had a lot of rain prior to our visit however if you are prepared with your wellies the walk to Richmond is still do-able over the fields via Easby. Fantastic walk just over an hour in the fresh air and a pint in the pub as a reward. Happy days
Some of the lodges are getting hot tubs, bring on next year... Cant wait...

Room Tip: Jasper views are stunning, front and side

Just returned from 2 night break at Brompton Lakes (today). What a fabulous stay we had and would certainly recommend staying. We stayed in the Imogen Lodge with my husband and our little dog who really enjoyed it. The lodge is lovely and spotlessly clean and very well maintained. A big thank to everyone at Brompton Lakes for making our stay wonderful. If anyone is considering a stay I suggest its a must!!!

Can't wait to stay again definitely 5 star.

Ps There are some lovely walks and particularly Easby Abbey.

Rooms were clean and very well designed lodge with plenty space. Lots of places around to visit so ideally located. very peaceful place ideal for a relaxing holiday.
