Description: The New Inn is a traditional country pub serving great food and real ale. The pub was refurbished and reopened in January 2013. It is a freehold pub, family owned and family friendly, just 3 miles west of Northallerton. The restaurant, to the rear of the pub, seats 40 and can be booked for private parties. The lounge and bar area is ideal for eating and/or drinking with 2 fires, including a traditional wood burner. All food is sourced from local suppliers wherever possible and is homemade by the landlord and chef, Carl Tinkler. The pub frequently serves cask ale from Northallerton’s local Walls County Town brewery in addition to cask ales from the popular Black Sheep brewery at Masham.

We returned for lunch to this lovely pub. Again food and drink was excellent. But along with others who were eating, we had to keep our coats on. The fire at one end had only just been lit and it was 1pm. It is not a very nice to eat like this and has put us off visiting in winter.

This is our second visit to this great country pub having found it by chance and always top quality with a warm welcome and a lovely clean place with a nice atmosphere .
Great choice of menu and food always well cooked and well presented.
Took our parents here for a 90th birthday celebration and they have lived in the area most of their lives and didnt know the place existed and were very impressed

Our first trip to the New Inn since it reopened and I must say what a good, tasty and well presented lunch it was and good value for money.
We all ordered pies and they were excellent, good pastry and lovely tender meat . Vegetables were fresh and steaming and they serve proper chips. I`m so fed up with these large fat chips which seem popular these days. Well done The New Inn !

Hidden down a county lane, hardly any traffic passing such a plesant place to visit. We (inc 2 children) called in for tea on a lovely summers evening, sat outside with our drinks choosing what we would like to eat, we had already chosen where we would like to sit inside and eat our meal.

Very accommodating, our daughter is a fussy eater and they met her demands, no problem. The staff let us know when our food was ready and we went back inside to eat. The food was lovely and we will certainly re-visit.

A very relaxing place with 3 real ales on offer. The village is a lovely place down a little country road, therefore not much passing traffic, very tranquil.
