Very friendly cafe-restaurant in the heart of Knaresborough, just off the market square. Lovely quaint feeling to this building, dating back to the 1600s and is cosy inside. A fine selection of soft drinks and wines to accompany an excellent menu of freshly-cooked traditional meals. The owner/chef is very friendly and loves to chat about the food. We went in with our two sons who were struggling to make a choice, but he recommended the belly pork to them, not normally what a young lad would eat. It was so good that they still talk about it now. Excellent food, cosy atmosphere.
