As a visitor to the Yorkshire coast regular since been a child, it was the first time visiting the bay and me and my girlfriend enjoyed our relaxing long weekend here with our 3 month old baby. The apartment was spotless with only nice little added touches for example the coffee machine, plenty of cutlery and plates. The only thing i could suggest that was a very minor inconvenience to us was that it was an upper floor apartment for carrying pram, luggage etc. But we knew this beforehand and therefore cannot complain as it was to be expected. The location is great for visiting nearby seaside towns Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey all within half an hour drive. The site itself is still been extended but again this was not a problem as we never really heard or saw this. Amenities on site are substantial. Pub, Great little pizza place (which you can also order and collect) and a Pharmacy although not open on weekends. Overall fantastic little apartment with nice touches and for the price would definitely stop here again.
This was a lovely apartment, very clean and tidy. There is everything you need here (except towels, you have to take your own). It is well decorated and very stylish. It is situated near the amenities and is in a lovely little quiet bit of the village. The beach is quite near and a nice little walk with lovely views over the sea. I would recommend this apartment to anyone as it is a lovely cosy little place. It is also very handy to visit lots of lovely places.
Lovely holiday in this modern apartment and recently updated in a quiet area set back off the road but only stones throw from the pub on site ( no noise what so ever from the pub ) Have stayed on the Bay a number of times now and definitely one of the nicer solo apartments and the comfy king size bed a plus.
Ideal location for Filey/Scarborough and Whitby.
for keen gardeners try Reighton Sands Nurseries just few miles up the road for huge selection of plants at a bout half the cost of other outlets, the misses bought 16 plants for £14, what a bargain.
John Paul jones on site is a nice pub although needs updating and royal oak has nice food and has a large new seating area inside that is comfy and quiet.
Monsoon Indian in Filey is very nice and worth a visit and if your in Whitby traditional fish and chips is a must at either Trenchers or Fisherman's wife
Only note for the apartment is take your own towels as these are not provided
( other apartments we have stopped at have supplied towels, this is the first time towels were not being supplied) not an issue for us as we always take some towels with us just incase.
Very clean and tidy apartment with all mod cons. Ideal location to visit several resorts. Site includes bar, restuarant and swimming pool. Plenty of parking spaces.
