Top rate B&B - Carol and Keith have created a very welcoming stop for walkers in Hawes. The location is fantastic - 30 seconds from the main street with a selection of shops and pubs. The room was perfect (modern but homely and very comfortable) and the breakfast was delicious. Keith helped us plan a walk which was great, and Carol looked after our cheese from our tour of Wensleydale Creamery. All in all a great stay, we would highly recommend and hope to come back!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 6 - no views from the skylights, but this was not an issue as there were such great views from the doorstep and you could sit in the garden if you want.

Our second stay at Loxley House in two years.

Many thanks to Carol and Keith for making our stay so enjoyable. The rooms (2 and 4) were excellent and the breakfasts top quality as before.

The B&B is in an ideal location, being quiet but only a minutes walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants of Hawes. There is off road parking and a garage for storing bikes. The view from the rooms and breakfast room is fantastic.

Highly recommend and we will be back.

Room Tip: Room 4 is the best room we have stayed in and it is worth the little extra charge. We have stayed in 1, 2 and 4. Rooms 2, 3 and 4 have patio doors opening on to the garden.

We have just returned from a wonderful long weekend in Hawes staying at the Loxley House Bed and Breakfast. From the initial contact by email with Carol to book the accomodation to our final goodbye, the experience has been exceptional.
Loxley House is located down a very small lane in the middle of Hawes and is the perfect place to stay and explore the area especially on foot. The room we had (Room No.4) cannot be faulted, everything was immaculate and the attention to detail was brilliant, even down to supplying an umbrella for if it rained. The bed was so comfortable it was difficult to get out of it to have the delicious breakfast. This was served in a bright and airy room and the choice of cooked food available would satisfy everyone. The tea and coffee were plentiful as was the toast.
Carol and Keith are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. They are extremely knowledgable about the area and were able to give us recommendations as to where to have
dinner and a good route to take to see some of the local points of interest in the area on foot.

We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't have loved it more. We traveled on our motorbike and were made to feel most welcome. Carol & Keith were friendly, we felt very at home. The only downside was it wasn't a longer stay! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely B&B to all of our friends.
We would love to stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were not there for long as we stayed there for 1 night after a wedding, but the owners were very accomodating as we arrived before check in and needed to freshen up before we had to go off to the wedding. The room was immaculate, very nicely decorated and the bed was soooo comfortable, we wished we had been staying for another few days! Breakfast was first class and just what we needed after a boozy wedding party the night before!
A truly beautiful place to stay in a very lovely part of the country, I highly recommend it!
