Having used this place before with no problems last Saturday we ordered a meal at 8-00 pm to be delivered to our caravan park nearby. We were told it would be about 40 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes we rang to see where our curry was.We were told its on its way and will be there in 15 minutes. After another 30 minutes we rang again and the guy said it was nearly ready and he would bring it himself in 15 minutes !!!! Needless to say I told him what to do with his curry !!!!

Good, no frills curry house. Decent menu with a reasonable range of dishes. No drinks licence, but staff were more than happy to supply glasses, openers and so on.
Price was about average for this type of food and restaurant. Quality of the food was reasonable although I do like my curries a little more spicey, but this is very much in the hands of the chef. I wouldn't have felt awkward asking for a stronger version of my Chicken Dopiaza. Food was served hot and dishes were well presented and never in a hurried fashion. We felt we were enjoying our meal rather than being rushed to clear the table. Only problem (and it is not really a problem) is paying. The guy behind the counter seemed to need to add everything up with his calculator, even if there was only four items on the bill, which delayed payment. Not really a blemish on the night, just mentioning it, so that those who like to "rush" things can pre-chill themselves in advance. Would be happy to return here when we're next in town.

Although the interior is outdated the service and the food was lovely, you do have to bring your own beer but that's no hardship the prices and the food were much better than desi thali .

We like to introduce our two young children to a variety of different foods and visit curry restaurants fairly regularly. This was situated across from our holiday home and so went around 7.40. We were largely ignored on entry, and found our own table in the end as several other tables were 'free' but full of previous diners plates and food. We waited 10 minutes to even see a menu and a further 10 minutes to order. We had to ask for side plates when our starters finally arrived and our main mains didn't come out until 9.00pm. At this point we we were all very hungry and our son was exhausted and too tired to eat much. The food was very average but the service was terrible. Need a lesson in customer service as the restaurant did not seem too busy and we waited far too long.

On a weekend break, we went here for a family meal. The place was empty and we assumed we would be served quickly and home in time to put the children to bed on time. We were not shown to a table, we were not offered drinks to start. Waited 10mins for poppadoms, wwithout side plates. We then waited 10mins to order food anddrinks. Waited over an hour (in which time other customers arrived, and waited, while the staff dicked about) oour food to arrive, ever tried to entertain small, tired, hungry children for that long? Food arrived, children didn't eat it they were to tired. We shovelled ours down, we asked for the bill and the waiter asked what was wrong with the food. My husband explained we had waited to long. He didn't seem bothered, no apologies, blamed the new chef and took our money. Totally disgusted, ruined our evening! They place is a dump!!
