“Fabulous Easter weekend break”

This was our 2nd stay here. 6 adults and 2 dogs. There are not many cottages on the coast which will accommodate this number. The weather was brilliant so we had plenty of walks on the beach and only used the car in the morning to quickly buy a paper. We ate at the pub last year and was a little disappointed so this time I cooked meals, the cottage is so well equipped this was easy. There are many extras in the cottage such as DVD's. books, games, magazines, WIFI and an I pod dock. A great time was had by all of us and we look forward to coming back for a 3rd visit next year.

Many thanks for your kind review, what a lovely surprise! Delighted to hear you all had a great time once again. You left the cottage in excellent order as usual, so thank you for that, it is much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you again next year!

“Warm, welcoming, happy house by the sea”

We have stayed at the Bay a few times over the years and always in Winter and have watched it grow. Whilst the building work may bother some, our children have always found it entertaining.

This is the first time we have booked with an independent owner and not through one of the large holiday Companies and what a difference. Roobarb retreat feels like a home, well looked after and kitted out with decent quality furniture and bedding and enough crockery to feed the site from.

Next time we plan to stay at the Bay, this cottage will be the first we will look to book as it's location cannot be bettered with just a short run in swim shorts in the freezing winter time!

Thank you so much for the kind review, it has really made my day! You left the cottage in an excellent state and will be welcome back anytime! I have been managing my cottage independently for almost a year now and it has been hard work but very rewarding to receive such positive comments from my guests. My family and I love visiting The Bay and it is great sharing the cottage with others who enjoy it just as much, and treat it with the same respect.

“Ideal”

Staying in this house was ideal. It is very conveniently situated in 'The Bay' being such a short walk to the swimming pool, leisure centre, pub and cafe yet well away from the noise of the main road. It is an end property so adjacent to the relevant parking and there are no properties opposite overlooking the back garden so it is more secluded than other sites in the complex. We found it relaxing, quiet and well equipped.
'The Bay' has a great choice of activities, we sampled walking on the beach and in the nearby fields, swimming in the pool, playing tennis and mini golf and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you Lesley O Brien for your kind and accurate review. Your party were also excellent guests and left the cottage in a very tidy condition, which was much appreciated.
