“Well appointed, good value, modern cottage in good area.”

I had a really nice stay at Seascape in July 2016. The cottage is on a modern development which feels more like a housing estate than a holiday park, but it was nice. The Bay is still being developed and there were occasional construction vehicles, sometimes early in the morning, but not excessive.

The location is good for Scarborough, Bridlington, Hull and Flamingoland, plus others we didn't visit.

The development has an Italian restaurant which was nice, especially the ice cream according to my daughter, a pub and curiously a pharmacy. It could do with a shop. The gym and pool were very nice and not overly busy.

The cottage is brilliantly stocked with consumables, which makes a really pleasant change. Everything was clean, tidy and in working order. For my daughter's sake, I should add that Wi-Fi was somewhat missed.

“Fabulous base”

We stayed at Seascape for a long weekend with our 5 & 7 year olds. The cottage is very well equipped & spotlessly clean. Great facilities on site with the gym & pool, pub & Italian restaurant. We ate at the pub a couple of times and the food & service were good although it was very busy one of the nights. A little disappointed with the children's 'play area' which is really just one slide but the kids loved it regardless! The beach was only a ten minute walk from the door. They are still building properties towards the beach but there was no disruption from noise or traffic. Overall a fab weekend and we intend to go back soon!

Reviewed June 5, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This cottage is a real gem, everything was in the cottage you could need very cosy.and spotlessly clean.
The shared pool was great.
A great base for visiting Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington.

“Great stay by the seaside”
Reviewed July 29, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The house was very comfortable and well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay which made our lives very easy. The beach was also a short walk from the complex which helped. The complex was also well maintained and having the pool onsite was a real bonus. The one comment I would make about the complex is that it does not have a shop. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

“Lovely clean cottage”
Reviewed May 16, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Stayed at the cottage on our first holiday as a family. The cottage is lovely and clean and well equipped. We travelled with our toddler and this was made easier by being provided with a high chair (travel cot also available if required).

Good location and the Bay complex is very well kept. Excellent food at the pub too.

Would recommend to others and hope to return in the future.

“Fantastic, value for money, will certainly return”
Reviewed February 18, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The house is well equipped and the facilities on site are also of a good standard. We travelled with our 19month old son and everything we needed was available without any extra cost (stair gate, high chair, travel cot).
The weather was cold, but a brisk walk to the beach soon sorted that. We drove into Scarborough and went on the mini railway, dragon boats, had a coastal walk and went to the marina. All in all a fab first family holiday in the UK, one disturbed evening from a group who were clearly out of place, a call to security soon rectified the issue and all was well once again. We have recommended this house and will happily return in the future. Many thanks.

great service all round , Fiona you were great and patient with an oldie who could not even get her email correct ,,, your property was very clean and comfortable , it was funny really as we were saying how clean the property was and then two lovely ladies turned up and said they were so sorry they had not finished cleaning..we would never have known. location for us was great and peaceful , we had some lovely walks on the beach and into filey, had days out and visited some lovely little pubs for lunch, did not use the pool but it looked really nice, we loved everything and disliked nothing. we will be back and have already song your praises to our family and friends, Thankyou.
