We stayed recently at the Crab Manor Hotel, for two nights. We stayed in one of the lodges after reading excellent reviews and having had good reports from friends. We were not disapointed, everything was first class. We ate at the Crab and Lobster restaurant, where the food was also fantastic. We spent many an hour in the private hot tub, and had the most relaxing break. We are planning our next trip there for early next year! Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Crab Manor for one night recently and absolutly loved it! The rooms are themed on hotels around the world and all are furnished to an excellent standard. The welcome from the staff is very friendly with efficient check in and help with luggage to the room. There is an empty glass in the room with a note inviting you to find the hidden beer tap in the hotel for a free drink!

Canapes are served before dinner in the lounge which is a very pleasant start to the evening.

We had dinner in the Crab and Lobster restaurant which is a short walk from the hotel. The food is excellent and we enjoyed our evening very much. Again the staff in the restaurant are very professional and efficient. Breakfast is also served there with a fantastic selection of dishes - much more than the regular breakfast items.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return and stay in one of the log cabins very soon.

Booked 1 night at Crab Manor following the reviews I've read on here, I'm so glad that I did, we had a great time for my Husbands birthday.

We stopped in the Le Touessrok which enjoys a private sauna and hot tub, brilliant way to let your stresses melt away.

We had a beautiful dinner in the Crab & Lobster, couldn't manage dessert, but enjoyed a perfect coffee with amazing chocolate truffles and biscotti to accompany it instead.

Breakfast was great and plentiful, however following the indulgence of the night before, i'm, going to have to run everywhere I go for the next week!!

We previously stayed in the Bora Bora suite about 4 years ago. As soon as a saw the livingsocial deal I snapped up the fantastic offer of £99 including breakfast and a bottle of wine if you eat in the restaurant. The deal included a manor house room - having been to Africa for our honeymoon we went for the Mount Nelson room. I contacted reception a few days before our stay and they replied promptly and confirmed our table booking. We were also informed that our room would be ready an hour earlier (3pm).

On our arrival we were dealt with very promptly by the friendly staff. We were shown to our room and told us about the hot tub and sauna. Although the place seemed busy we were the only 2 in the tub - must have spent an hour in there!

Our room was fantastic - huge bed and I was so surprised how big the bathroom was. The wardrobe is in the bathroom just in case you wonder! Free standing bath was big but filled fast. Lovely molten brown toiletries. We had a pair of slippers and bathrobe each. Lots of big fluffy white towels.

We found the hidden beer tap and helped ourselves. We had an amazing meal - I don't know what people are saying about miserable staff - they were super friendly but professional. We had homemade bread (one was black and tasted like treacle - lovely!) our wine was also nice. Hubby had the lamb and thought it was outstanding.

After our meal we went into the lounge, lovely furniture and huge sofas. My husband had a whisky and it was only £3.60 which was not bad at all.

Breakfast was lovely, the lady waiting our table was so friendly and explained that we could have an combination of the items on the menu. We were served promptly and there was a choice of items on the buffet table/juices.

Our offer has a late check out of 11am - after our breakfast we wanted to use the hot tub again but they were cleaning the tub. The staff were very apologetic. You defo feel that the staff would do anything to assist and make your stay fantastic. We will be back to try another room.

We stayed at Crab Manor in the Bird Island Room. The room was smaller than expected and lacked a safe and refridgerator, but enjoyed the privacy and the hot tub. The restaurant is amazing. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

This was our first stay and we had an amazing time at Crab Manor in Raffles, with our own private hot tub and sauna. Loved the decoration and ambiance and came away feeling so relaxed.

We ate at the restaurant and what a delightful surprise - the place is quirky and the the staff so friendly and knowledgeable. There is so much choice on the menu and the food we did have was excellent and portions are a good size - I could only manage the starter and main, so shared dessert with my husband.

Breakfast is a feast - I had the scrambled eggs and salmon which was delicious.

We are definitely going to return and are hoping to stay in one of the new rooms.

Stayed in the mount nelson room on a Tuesday night after getting a deal on living social :-)
This place has a reputation that it deserves - unique rooms , hot tubs , good food , friendly , efficient , professional all round.

I noticed a lot of the staff were not English.

We ate in the restaurant which was beautiful shared a fish platter , followed by sole ( partner had venison) shared a sticky toffee desert and had a couple of drinks £90 ( forgot to ask for the free bottle of wine included in the deal :-( altho they could have reminded us ! )

Would I go back ? Absolutely but I'd stay in one of the rooms with private hot tub , even though we had use of one with our room.

Go on indulge yourself
