“Excellent service & attention to detail.”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Our overnight stay in The Aysgarth Falls Hotel was a true surprise in a delightful location.
Service and attention to detail is what its all about, from the decor to the produce on the table, Its a rare thing to find these days and very much appreciated by those that have stayed there.
Our stay was in Room 2 on the first floor, a very warm and cosy landing leading to our bedroom, very tastefully decorated and first class ensuite with a walk in power shower ...the water pressure at this place is incredible :-)
Very attentive staff who seem willing to spend a few minutes engaging with their customers, it makes you feel very welcome and cared for. They know the value of good manners and a few well chosen words. Cant wait for our next visit real soon.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have baths in the en-suite so make sure to check when booking.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay here. The rooms are tastefully decorated with modern bathrooms . Very comfortable , warm and spacious .The beds are a little too soft for my taste that's why I didn't give excellent rating but that's just me , very warm and great views . . Had a delicious evening meal , and very satisfying breakfast with lots of choises to suit all tastes .,just what you need after a late night in the hotel bar . Lovely views from breakfast room too. . Great location for a walk around the falls to work off breakfast afterwards .
We stayed in the bar all evening , which ebbed and flowed with folks all night . Only thing missing was perhaps some background music . Very relaxing stay .

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the gardens , not roadside . Better views top floor.

As we live locally we went for the first time here for a meal with my family to celebrate my retirement. I have to say that the food was excellent, a very good menu with a good choice and I loved the smoked haddock starter. The staff were very helpful, most attentive and I could not fault them.
All in all, great food, good wine, nice decor and great location, we will be back.

Visited for food. Had the woodpigeon to start and the grouse for main. It was all absolutely gorgeous. The best food iv ever had. Not to sure on the hairy feet on the grouse. All food is fresh and local. The ice cream was also to die for. Will revisit when next in the tea.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, food fantastic , great menu, very well priced for fresh local produce,
Very nice warm hotel, with attention to detail, very clean, even a drying room that came in very useful for walkers, cyclists.
The staff in this hotel, pub could not do enough for us during our stay, very polite , very conscious we were comfortable and enjoying our stay with them.
Drinks very reasonably priced not overpriced like some hotels, very good local ales and guest beers, nice wines available.

Stayed at this excellent hotel a few weeks back for a suprise birthday weekend away.
Accomodation is very clean and comfortable and of a high standard.
Service was excellent (bar and restaurant). Staff are very informative when asked and always willing to go the extra mile. Owner was very helpful and friendly.
Great tariff for quality of room and service.Location ideal for walks to local falls and castle bolton.
Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a recent weekend designed to eat, drink and walk. Very friendly staff and lovely big room facing to the front of the hotel, room 1. Breakfasts were good and we also ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was excellent. We were told that the hotel has only been open for about 16 months after being derelict for a time so well impressed at how well it is run. No complaints at all and will visit again.

Room Tip: Room 1 has shower but no bath. Rooms to the rear are quieter due to main road to front of hotel
