We needed a room at very short notice and were arriving very late.
We called the place first and were told it would be cheaper to book online, which we did.

A large family room for £54.(2 adults, 2 children) It was clean and quiet. Kettle with tea and coffee supplies too.

The room was perfect for our needs and we will stay again when we are in that part of the country.

After leaving we were called by the hotel twice, I had left my credit card there and they saved us a lot of time and trouble with that phone call.

Thank you to their helpful staff

Room Tip: We had the room near to reception and it was very quiet

We booked this Travelodge online and were not disappointed. We stayed in a family room, there was plenty of room for the 4 of us in the room, the decor was nice and clean, there was only a small supply of tea and coffee but we had taken extra with us! The beds were OK, not the most comfortable we have slept in, they were quite hard, but they were clean. The bathroom was OK, no lock on the door and the door wouldn't close properly but that wasn't a major problem. The staff were friendly and considering its on a busy road and has a garage very near there was no noise. All in all it's OK for a few nights.

Stayed here for business, but in comparison with other Travelodges in the area, this is tired, and desperately needs a bit of money spending on it. Perhaps a re-vamp is on the cards??? New bedrooms and bathrooms would be much appreciated,

Having said that, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were relatively cheap. Average overall.

After several disappointing stays in past with various Travel Lodges we had ceased using them. With the new advertising campaign and reviews on trip advisor decided to try this one as it was close to where we were visiting. It was clean, comfortable and although basic it was fine for our one night stay. Surprised by how little noise from outside,

Our 2nd stay at this old style roadside TL. Despite being tucked behind a filling station and trucks it offers a warm welcome, newly refurbished rooms and friendly staff who recommended a good pub with excellent food.
