Visited for the first time in over 20 years recently and have to say the food and service was very good.
The bar area is very dated, bordering on shabby, but i can't decide whether this just adds to a bygone charm or not.
The food is excellent and they certainly do not skimp on the portions. Service is top notch and although not cheap i felt it offered good value for money. For 4 of us including pre dinner drinks, a couple of bottles of wine and three courses each came to around £200
