I have heard people complain about the cost here, which I dont understand!
How many places have rides (nowhere nr alton towers level!)
animals, splash play, entertainers, parks, adventure play areas, soft play, ice skating and much more?
Although we have been more than once, its rare we get to do everything!
There is plenty to do 4 all ages although parents will have to join younger children on some attractions. Usually children under 90cm.
It is worth looking online for discounts and events, they often have popular tv characters such as fireman sam there.
If u want a full day out and warn out kids go, u will not be disappointed!

“Brilliant day out!”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

We have been to Twinlakes several times now and our boys aged 9 and 5 never get bored of going! So much to do for all ages of children and parents can go on the rides with them too. There is also a farm with lots of animals to look and my boys love the peacocks that roam around. There is a huge indoor play area which our children love we have to drag them out! We always take a picnic and buy ice creams/drinks as extra if required so don't spend so much money. The waterpark is great in the summer but can get quite busy but lots of fun to be had. Unlike some of the bigger "theme" parks the queues are small at Twinlakes so you don't spend th day waiting to go on rides. There is also a great falconry show which is really interesting for all the family to sit and watch. All in all a lovely day out and feels so spacious with lots of picinc benches scattered around so you can always find somewhere to sit and have your lunch. Highly recommend a visit here.

“Lovely family day out”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

We went on the last day of the summer holidays. The kids were 4,6 and 9. They all had a fab time lots to see and do. Some que's were large which is to be expected but some people were going on the log flume one at time, come on they hold 3 people. Plenty of different rides for the kids and animals to see. We didn't buy no food or drinks but plenty of other people did. We took a picnic and ice cold drinks at it was a glorious day.

“Almost too much to do!”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

We went here on a sunny bank holiday Monday so were expecting big queues and madness. The car park was busy but there was no queuing at all and it was busy but never felt crowded (other than the splash zone area).
We honestly didn't know where to start but decided to leave the water until last so went up to the farm which was a winner. Our youngest was too small for some of the rides and some didn't have anywhere for you to measure them and I'm afraid I wasn't sure whether our 3 were 0.9, 1m, 1.2m etc until a few rides in but we soon figured it out.
We had a marvellous time and luckily for us a lot of people had brought picnics as the cafe we used had one poor girl on her own but she was super efficient.
The only problem we had was the splash zone was not for toddlers. There was one small slide that would have been great but the youngest just couldn't get up the steps as the water they were squirting from above was too forceful and she couldn't get through. I tried to go up with the youngest 2 (age 3 and 4) and you couldn't see in front of you - I tried to go down the slide with the 3 year old but got told I wasn't allowed yet the water at the bottom was deeper than you would expect. The 7 year old absolutely loved it though.
Overall we had a really good day and would highly recommend.

“Day out with a 4 year old”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

At the start of the school holidays we wanted to take my friends 4 year old for a day out. Chose Twinlakes after a recommendaton and looking on the internet. We waited until the day to make sure weather fine and bought the tickets from their web site and got a 20% discount. This also saved the queues to get in. The rides are all free and there were more than enough to keep us entertained for the whole day. We bought drinks and ice creams and they were all very reasonable as well. We had agreat day and the 4 year old little had a fabulous time.
