Hospitality could not be more genuine. Great range of dishes without compromising quality. Fresh home reared/ shot game, together with more exotic twists e.g impala, plus local reared venison.
The focus of this local inn is DINING..HOSPITALITY...EXPERIENCE.

Been passed this place numerous times and decided to try last weekend. We were warmly welcomed and upon checking the menu the average meal main course was £10 - £14 but boy do you get a plate full of really top quality food. We shall be going here again and highly recommended.

Jad and the team are extremely accommodating and helpful!! If you choose not to stay at the Falcon you must at least have dinner here! The food is exquisite!! Whether it is traditional English fare or Jad's Lebanese specials you won't be disappointed!
As proprietor Jad goes the extra mile to make guests feel at home and welcome. I can't wait to stay at the Falcon on my next trip.
Jad even took time from a busy evening to invite me to play backgammon!!!

We loved this place!

Stayed overnight and had dinner in the cosy restaurant.

Our room in the barn conversion: Four-poster bed, enormous bathroom, very clean and very, very comfortable.

Dinner was delicious, the game pie with Lebanese spices was wonderful!

Jad and his staff were so welcoming, we felt really at home as soon as we arrived. Their friendliness and attention to little details was exceptional.

If we need to stay in the area again, we wouldn't look any further than The Falcon.

Never been here before, got a bad feeling as I walked in, very dated, not quite a traditional pub, only the log fire to save it. The owner struts around in a overtly designer shirt saying hello to all and sundry constantly but not much else. Staff were welcoming and nice but food was not good. Menu is a weird mix of cultures, my flat breads were mouldy, little dots of mould all over. How can you serve that? The fillet steak was ok, not the best I've had, the onion rings were greasy and the vegetables totally over cooked and mushy. Carrots almost grey. Coffee came out of a pseudo vending machine and was awful. The bill was steep, £27.50 for a steak! You'd pay that in London but not a village pub.

Went up the road to the Royal Oak in same village and it's MUCH nicer in there. Wish we had eaten there.

Will certainly never go to The Falcon again. Avoid.
