We visited Conkers during half term and thought we would give it a try after reading good and not so good reviews to see for ourselves. The admission price is good and it's great for walks if the weather permits. The discovery centre was fun and my son enjoyed exploring the labyrinth area, climbing, hiding and going down the slides. The tree top walk could be improved as my son has special needs and it was too short with not much going on. The train ride was a success but the route could be tided up a bit with more to look at and see on the way. The out door adventure playground was good and a good size. When it came to eating though, this was a disappointment. The waterside cafe wasn't even serving hot food and my son found it very hard when he could see children eating hot party food and yet we could not order any. We had purposely gone in there to eat and so had to get the train back to the discovery centre to get some lunch. This is a nightmare when you have a child with behavioural problems. When we did finally get a seat in the food hall, we got forgotten about and had to ask twice for our food, which took 45 mins to arrive and then it was cold. They need to address these issues and it could be a really nice place.
