I had previously visited Conkers with a 5 year old during the summer of 2010 and had been relatively pleased with the attractions and facilities on offer. We all had an enjoyable day. On the strength of this previous visit, I decided to take some other young family members to a Winter Wonderland Day this year. Sadly, this trip did not live up our expectations. On arrival the reception staff requested that we go and have a cup of coffee in the restaurant as the staff were still busy 'setting up' which we thought demonstrated extremely bad planning and organisation. The indoor play area was not particularly exciting and a little outdated and grubby. The outside adventure playground was just OK but there were not enough activities on offer generally on site to make it an action packed day. We visited during the hours of daylight so the lighting features in the wooded area could not be fully appreciated - a visit later in the day is to be recommended when the walk in the woods would be much more atmospheric. The redeeming feature was Santa's grotto however and the staff worked hard at making it a fun experience for the all the children visiting. All in all, I will not be rushing back to Conkers and would not be recommending that you do either. Sadly the park seems to have had its day and needs some further investment to keep it up to date and exciting and worth the entrance fee.

i visited conker's last weekend with my family which included my 4 yr old little boy, we have be goin to the winterwonderland for the last 5 yrs and each year are delighted and amazed at how bigger and better it keeps gettin, the only down side to our outing was the awful rain! but even so the lovely staff all had smiles on their faces and were dedicated in making it a magical experience, which includes carol singers, elves, reindeers and santa's grotto, stories being read to the children by the snow queen, mr and mrs peppermint and many more, the christmas lights are beautifull my little boy's favourite was the polar bear snow scene which is situated in the waterside resturant, where we collected our free mince pie, mulled wine and cookie for the children, having looked at the christmas menu we decided on having lunch, the food was lovely and we thought very reasonably priced the staff although very busy were friendly and very helpfull, all in all a very enjoyable day i would definatly recommend to my friends and will be certainly be returning next year,

We visitied conkers last weekend with our granchildren as a pre-christmas treat. The children had a fantastic time and the youngest (aged 5) was totally in awe of the winter wonderland and meeting santa. The staff made a real effort with the children and were very helpful and friendly. We paid the small extra charge to use the whole of the park and had lunch in the cafe which was quite busy. The price of the food was in keeping with this kind of venue, the service was very good and the portions generous and well presented. I will definately be visiting again.

I visited conkers winter wonderland last weekend 11th December and it was the best experience not only for children but for adults to. there are lots of lights all around the site to keep the children occupied. The elves that greeted us were very good as they handled the children very well and set the scene. the free drink, mince pie and cookie on top was an added bonus and well worth the money paid. at the grotto there was fake snow which really gripped the children's attention and much more to our surprise two real reindeer's were there which thrilled the children where there was a professional photographer there so we had a top quality photo that we can keep and spread the word to the rest of family and friends. the service on reception was very good and helpful. very good well run company. MUST VISIT AMAZING
