We stayed at this hotel because we were meeting friends locally for a social occasion. We had considered another hotel nearby but this appeared to be the better bet on price and good reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was obviously a family room and was large with extra beds. It was extremely clean and and kept at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was well maintained and clean. We cannot comment on the food because we were out for dinner and left early the next morning before breakfast. In short, this budget hotel suited us perfectly - somewhere decent to get a good night's sleep.

Just stayed for 1 night ( family of 4 ) but felt so welcome when we checked in. Room was lovely, very clean what you'd expect from Premier Inn. Nothing was too much trouble, even offered to get the weather forecast for the following day for us. The restaurant next door was ok , food was average and tables etc felt sticky as though not cleaned. Premier Inn itself was very good but pub next door let it down.

Not the usual standard we've come to expect from Premier Inn. Maintenance and temperature control issues. Considerable noise from other guests and staff on breaks under our bedroom window. Very poor quality breakfast - breakfast area unclean, staff not interested, coffee and hot water empty. Some breakfast items unavailable. Such a shame as premier inn is usually great value for money, but this was pricier than usual and the quality was poor.

Very close to the hospital where we were due to attend the next day because my husband was having an operation. Extended room terms were offered to us because we didn't know how long he was going to be in. As it was, the hospital checked him out on time and the extension to our room wasn't required. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfortable. Only criticism I would make is that Wi-Fi is only free for 30mins which seems a bit mean and the fans of the pub behind were a bit noisey and did affect the person who sleeps nearest the window of room #26. Also, the food of the adjoining pub is typical and not the most exciting but it's food. The extension to room price was £15 to 6pm which is very good. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. Thank you.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor, there's no lift if you are disabled this is a problem, and I suffer with osteoarthritis and my husband has similar and had to carry suitcase up two flights of stairs.

Very conveniently placed hotel. Clean and friendly with access to a pub next door for food and drink. Beds very comfortable with choice of pillows. Some rooms overlook fields and have quite a nice outlook. Others face the car park and can be quite noisy, especially on a warm night when the windows are open. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for room away from car park
