I came to visit this restaurant last week with my parents as I've haven't been before after hearing good reviews about it through word of mouth and through my close friends. I was very impressed by the place and the staff are very welcoming. The food was oustanding, and of good quality too, we all had the Chef specials and I've seem to made up my decision to name the Chili Chicken Massala as my favourite Indian dish! Amazing it was! It was a very nice touch to receive a £5 gift voucher afterwards and a few complimentary after-dinner drinks, just shows how much they really care about their customers! Well done! Will definitely be back soon.

the reason why only 2 stars will be clarified, we arrived before the rest of my family party for a birthday meal and were greeted with politeness and courtesy, the remainder of the family arrived and were equally greeted. After drinks were ordered we were promptly seated at our reserved table, the overall impressions for our 1st visit were, a nicely presented comfortable place to dine. Orders were taken and the courses began to arrive soon after, poppadums & dips of different flavours to begin, then the chosen starters, followed by the mains, all of which were timed nicely so that we didn't feel rushed as the evening progressed, clearance of the dishes was politely carried out when required, however, I shall now explain why the low mark, one of our party is not a fan of Indian cuisine but because the birthday girl wanted to come to here they agreed once we had it confirmed personally by visiting prior, that they could supply an English type of meal (Chicken or Steak were offered), again we confirmed when ordering that this was available so a Chicken / Chips with a gravy was asked for. What came was a suprise in that it was a handful of chips, 6 x 20mm squares of Fried chicken and a little plate of salad, of which the chicken pieces had been fried and were dry because of this, the chips were nothing special so this meal was not very satisfying in the same way as the rest of the party's food, following this came the sweets choice and to make up for the main a sweet was ordered which was described as a `mountain` but what arrived was a hard, almost frozen slice that was not easy to eat and the real `slap in the face` came when the bill arrived, including some drinks it was in excess of £160 and the `English` meal was charged £9.95, what!!! for such a poor restaurant offering this seemed to be a little upsetting, you could get a better offering from KFC for less, but because the evening was coming to a close and the bill was being settled between the group it was felt that a complaint would go nowhwere now. So to conclude, yes the Indian restaurant came up to expectations but do not consider if you want an English option as they will not deliver something that will satisfy.

Visited this restaurant 3 times now throughout December, with friends and with family. The food is outstandingly good with a huge choice. Lots of people have commented on the slow service - and yes they do have a point - but the fantastic food and lovely decor does make up for this. Not too keen on being seated in the conservatory - we were given a table in there on our second visit and the four of us all felt it was too cramped - just a table too many in there as the waiter could barely get passed us - very annoying. Other than that our 3 visits were brilliant. The complimentary liquer, rose for the ladies and £5 voucher off your next visit were very welcome touches. Do not hesitate to try this restaurant - we will definitely be regular visitors.

Visited on 30/12/13, Was quite busy but not over busy. Booked a table in advance, Got our first drink 20m after arriving as the staff all seemed to busy, Food took a very long time to arrive however it was worth the wait, The food was amazing, really good Indian food. It's just a shame the service can't match the food quality. Will go back and try again.
