When visiting the farm we were with ages 1 to 89 years of age and had a wonderful day looking at the animals, eating in the cafe, feeding the animals and interacting with the members of staff who are also very friendly. The scenery is beautiful and their really is a lot to see. we found this day to be memoriable and fun with no stress esecially as the children can run safe and free and the adults can chat, relax and enjoy the day.

we have taken our one year old granddaughter a couple of times and she loves it, it is one of the few farms that do not charge you to look around. Ther are good cafe facilities and a soft play area that is indoors and you pay by the hour, excellent

We (me, my wife and our daughters 1.5 and 3.5 years old) visited the farm yesterday (27.02.2013) and liked it very much. First of all, animals: we saw two donkeys, a few sheeps, two newborn lambs, two baby goats, two pigs, four rabbits, a dozen of chickens, a dozen of calves and a lot of hens. Visitors are allowed to interact with some of the animals, e.g. to feed calves (which costs 50 p, however) and to stroke rabbits and chickens (which is free:). There is also a playground which is very small but hosts a nice castle with a wonderfull slide - toddlers can have a lot of fun there if the wheather is fine (as it was yesterday). Also they have a few pedal toy tractors, but they are rather useless: the area where one can ride them is small and dull, some pedals are brocken, and the tractors are too heavy for a 3.5 years old child to move. The food in the cafe is tasty. Also they have a playbarn but we did not go there as the wheather was nice. All in all, the place is probably a little bit small for a whole day to spend, but half a day is definitely worth spending there.

We stumbled across Old Holly Farm and its adjoining play barn by accident whilst visiting a local shooting shop! The Farm is fully working and has a wide variety of farm animals, many of which the children can get up close and personal with and there are even some pens that Daddys can get into to get chicks and rabbits for the youngsters to touch! Our eldest (3 at the time) loved it and the fact that there is an adjoining playbarn made the trip even better!
The playbarn itself is fantastic and a £4 odd per session it is fantastic value for money too! The only regret that we had is that we chose to eat in the restuarant, as we did not know that you could eat in the playbarn section whilst the kids go nuts! We will definitely be visiting again!
