Visited with our 7 year old grandson last Saturday. First impressions were how friendly everyone was. Grandad enjoyed visiting the animals and grandson made friends with other children in the play barn. Coffee, cold drinks and snacks readily available, seating area very comfortable. Big hit with grandson and cant wait to return. We have visited other attractions in the north west but this one has that little bit extra.

“Lovely afternoon out”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Been many times - love feeding the calves and checking out other animals. Play are not too busy and got a seat in cafe. Food lovely and when my son knocked his milkshake over they replaced it no charge! Farm shop a bit pricey but a few nice things in there, including heir ice cream - good value & tastes great!

“Well thought out”

Great place for the young ones. New play barn and great cafe with good coffee and all sorts of buns and stuff!! Small play area and lots of touchy feely animals in the pens. Plenty of hand wash sinks available. Large paddock areas with farm animals and sometimes donkey rides

“Nice to visit for a couple of hours”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

Its a nice place to visit for 2 to 3 hrs with the kids, they have a few animals that the kids can look at or interact with, chicks, rabbits, calfs, pigs etc & a small wooden outdoor play area. There is a farm shop which you now have to walk through to access the cafe and indoor play area, so obviously you cant get through the shop without having to buy something. However the ice cream they sell is absolutely delicious !! The indoor soft play area is like a wacky warehouse type thing with a cafe area for the grown ups, they serve tea coffee and cakes etc which are not too badly priced and the cakes are fantastic !!
All in all a really nice place to visit for couple of hours on a sunday if the kids are bored.
