Great location, plentiful free parking, but the room I had was very shabby and uninspiring. The bar is friendly and bright with a good selection of everything, and a decent (standard fare) bar menu. And my biggest gripe; the wi-fi didn't work in the room, so I checked out after one night. There's not a lot of choice in Fleetwood, so if you have to go there this is probably as good as it gets.

stayed at this hotel at the beginning of April for 4 days we had a lovely room with great views across the bay the room was very clean with comfortable beds, all the staff wherever they worked, whether in the bars, restaurant, house keeping or reception were very pleasant and very helpful. The food options available in both the very well appointed bar or in the restaurant itself was excellent and being in an old fishing port the fish and chips could not have been fresher or tastier, for the more active of us there is a fantastic gym with more equipment than you could see in some of the more well known gymnasiums, parking is plentiful and, if you want to leave the car and go by the famous Blackpool/Fleetwood trams then all you have to do is walk out of the front of the hotel and you can travel the almost seven miles of track to Blackpool. there is a big indoor market and also the Freeport shopping centre. When it was suggested to me that we stay at this hotel I was a bit sceptical because the town of Fleetwood has lost its ferry service and most of its fishing fleet, but be assured after find such a terrific, pleasant and friendly hotel, WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Room Tip: Not having seen all the rooms except the ones our party stayed in I cannot say what they would be li...

We stayed here over the Easter weekend. We often visit family in Fleetwood and always promised ourselves we would. We had a fab room with sea view and very comfy bed. Didn't spend much time in it though as there was and excellent Jazz band playing in the afternoon and a singer later in the evening. Staff were all pleasent and worked hard.. the hotel is really making an effort to complete with Blackpool. We'd go back anytime

We have just had a long weekend stay, I cannot find anything negative to say about it, the room was light and spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you could want, and wonderful sea views. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the food of a high standard. it was a pleasure to stay there. we are booking again for next year

Room Tip: superior rooms really are well worth the extra.

Stayed here for 3 nights ,the negative points first the heating can be quite hot and extreme at times but the hotel states its set at a temperature to suit everyone and cannot be altered , we did stay here in January and found the heating ok but it was cooler then saying that it was very mild with temperatures reaching 15 so this did not help.
The hotel does need upgrading but in its defence it is spotlessly clean every where and they have lots of cleaners all old school so the building is very clean. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard, and our room was ok.
The meals were very good and we ate in the hotel most days and we found it reasonable and good quality, the staff were very polite and positive any requests were fulfilled .
I noticed that a few people have commented about functions in the hotel yes there is functions and yes the hotel can be busy at times but as I look at it if its local people using this hotel for functions and meals it tells you a lot about it , its popular .
Overall this hotel is in a great location ,great food, nice service, and room rates that are value for money.

Wonderful view, clean functional room in need of some repairs. Dinng room full, bar also full so couldn't eat in hotel leaving little choice as Fleetwood seems to close down at night. Staff not very friendly, surly receptionist and unhelpful resturant (manager?) who told is we couldn't have a menu because it changed every day (it doesn't). Feedback from guests not actively encouraged - no forms etc to fill in .
This could be a fantastic hotel with some proper staffing and updating of facilities. Like many old seaside hotels it has to make a living but it tries to be all things to all people and fails. Much priority given to events and those attending in favour of overnight guests.

Room Tip: Second floor sea view
