We have stayed at the Wavecrest each year for at least fifteen years when visiting Fleetwood for the Fylde Folk Festival. I suppose that speaks for itself. Nearly every year we have a longer stay to allow for a short pre-Festival holiday. Donna and Eric are the perfect hosts. They and the rest of the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room we stay in each year is spacious with a fabulous sea view and is always spotlessly clean. The rooms are serviced every day without fail and there is tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits etc and a kettle in the room. Breakfast is provided at Eric & Donna's other hotel, The Savoy, which is just a couple of doors away. The breakfasts are of great quality, and extremely generous. Each morning, guests choose their cooked breakfast from a very comprehensive menu and the supplies of coffee and toast are seemingly endless. Choice of juices and cereals are provided on a self-service basis. From the outside this looks like a typical, traditional seaside hotel but the quality of what is on offer inside is exceptional. Very highly recommended. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Wavecrest.
