“Well cooked and presented food at great prices”
Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

Enjoyed the two course lunch here for £6.99 per head - either starter and main or main and pudding. We both chose the pie chips and peas, I had the cheese and onion whilst my husband had the meat and potato. Both were served with chunky chips, peas (with pancetta) and gravy and both were delicious. Thick wedges of home made pie, full of flavour. we then both chose the chocolate fudge cake, with cream or ice cream. Gorgeous! Even the ice cream on offer was different - homemade with Peroni! We sat downstairs where the staff were busy working but still friendly and happy to discuss their menu. Wish we lived closer so we could have stayed for an evening dinner but will definitely be back for lunch. It's a pretty casual place, not stuffy, but very welcoming and friendly and they have a very extensive menu so would recommend it.

“Excellent first impression.”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

First time we have eaten here, can see where other reviewers are coming from when they say it is more like a cafe than a restaurant.
We sat downstairs which was fine, as we waited for our food looking at some menu's for the evening can see why they would like to be classed as a restaurant, I am presuming they may use candles, tablecloths etc, in the evening as the offers include steaks, wine etc, and this could attract couples for an excellent value night out.
We would definitely go again as the food and service was excellent, they are all a friendly bunch clearly working well together, no where to hide with the open kitchen.
We both had pie, peas and chips, delicious, hot and home made even better, we'll done and keep up the hard work, as we were leaving the chef said good bye too us even though he was still busily cooking away.

“Fantastic food - little slow service”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

Went for lunch on a Saturday at about 2:30pm.
The menu choice was fantastic - if not a little too large.
Food was ordered promptly, but took quite a while to arrive, though when it did come it was fantastic.

Would I go back? Definitely!

“great food at a great value peice”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

We paid our 2nd visit to Qzine for lunch today and again we were not disappointed. The food was lovely good and hearty just what we needed on a cold winters day. £6.99 for 2 courses. My husband had the soup with bread. It was thick and full of vegs with a lovely home made bread. We both had pies mine with new potatoes and my husbands with chips. These were not just any old pies but made in front of your eyes by the excellent chief. I then had the most lovely cheese cake I have ever tasted followed by excellent coffees. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. This place is very much a cut above the brand name coffee houses which are slowly creeping into Clitheroe and which charge an arm and a leg for terrible coffee (and then they don't pay their corporation taxes.
Give it a try you will not be disapponted

“The Qzine experience”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

Clitheroe has been crying out for this restaurant, ate here several times and the eating experience is excellent, talk to Mark while he cooks your meal, you are in the kitchen as another reveiw. Menu and daily specials just what is needed and cooked to perfection. Quality of the ingredients and all meals freshly prepared in front of you make this restaurant or cafe or what you want to call it the place to eat when you want a light snack, lunch or diner
Mark the owner/chef has put his all into this business and it shows with the quality of the end product that is plated and presented with fine dining in mind
Give Qzine a go and you wont be disappointed
