“Beautiful place”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

It is well respected as a Jesuit run boarding school, but the building and location is stunning. Well worth a visit.

“Stunning setting for great school”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

A magnificent college building with a history dating back centuries. Tolkien connections and many of local places in Lord of the Rings

“Heart of the Ribble valley”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

Stonehurst college is worth a seeing when visiting the Ribble Valley with its stunning countryside, excellent walks and plenty of first class pubs and restaurants.
When visiting the college enter the grounds by the village of Hurst Green, where the view looking down towards the college and grounds is spectacular. The chapel is breath taking inside and should not be missed. Just stop and look at the grave stones at the side of the chapel, which although sad takes you back to another century. The college itself is extremely interesting with a diverse historical past.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

I have walked around the grounds which are lovely and also been to an exhibition here. Worth a visit but charges for the exhibitions can be steep.
