Description: A Great British Country Pub nestled in the Ribble Valley overlooked by Pendle Hill in the most Idylic Hamlet called Paythorne. A real Country Pub owned by the same family for nearly twenty years and one of Ribble Valley's longest serving landlady's. We welcome everyone from walkers, cyclist, dog owners and especially familes. So whenever you are in the area do make sure to call in and say hello. staff are friendly and the service great, prices for the food was a little off-putting though

“SUPERB WHOLESOME FOOD.”

there are two pubs in the village,we opted for the buck on the first night,we were pleased with the food,and the ample portions,so we went there for our remaining nights meals,good service,good food,recommended

Great choice of real ale. Excellent, good value food. Friendly unfussy service. That's an excellent pub in my book!

“amazing food”

The food at the Buck inn is very yummy. My husband an I always chose a different dish so we can taste a bit of all and we were never dissapointed.
