A great authentic Indian restaurant where the service is second to none and the food is out of this world. Plenty of choice whether you are a seasoned curry eater of the hottest varieties or prefer something a little cooler on the tongue.

Had a great meal at Baltistan yesterday. Poppadoms, mixed kebab to start, followed by Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh with a garlic naan. Tasty, filling and good value for money. My food plus drinks came to £23 - very reasonable. I'll be back!

Have just been staying up near Blackburn for work and was recommended this restaurant by some colleagues. I can't think of how many indian restaurants I've been to over the years but Balti Stan is one of the best. The food was great- I had tandoori king prawn, chana masala and daal- but it was the service that set this place apart. Attentive and helpful (one of our group came half an hour late but his main was rushed to come out at the same time as ours), the waiters and owner were really funny and made us laugh every time they came over to our table. Highly recommend this place, we had a great night.

Excellent all round. Have been here twice recently whilst staying in the area on business. The food is excellent - undoubtedly the best Chicken Tikka Bhuna I've ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the service efficient and friendly. This will definitely be a regular night out for me while in the area.
